Mrs. Anderson died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Halver Johnson, of Luverne, Minn, at 3 o'clock, Thursday morning, Aug. 11. She had been in poor health for thirty years and was afflicted with diabetes for eleven years prior to her death. Mrs. Anderson was born in Chicago Jan. 25, 1871. She was married Sept. 6, 1890. The family lived in Chicago until 1902, when they came to Inwood and settled upon a farm in Centennial township. With the exception of two years residence, at La Mar, North Dakata, and visits to her children the past few years, she has resided in the community continuously since coming to Iowa.

For a number of years Mr. and Mrs. Anderson made their home with their daughter, Mrs. Clara Sorenson. Last March they went to Luverne, Minnesota, to live with another daughter.

Mrs. Anderson was the mother of thirteen children and is survived by ten of them.

Besides her husband, William Anderson, of Luverne, Minn., she is survived by the following children: Mrs. Clara Sorenson, of Inwood, Mrs. Tom Hendrickson, of Larchwood, Mrs. Martin Hendrickson, of Larchwood, Mrs. Marin Hendrickson, of Inwood, Bernard Anderson, of Beresford, S. Dak., Mrs. Gilbert Medalen, of Valley Springs, S. Dak., Mrs. Herman Hendrickson, of LaMar, N. Dak., Verna and Wilma Anderson, both of Luverne, Minn. She is also survived by twenty-six grandchildren.
