Rose Anna Huntsman-Sherman
Mrs. Rose Sherman, (Rose Anna Huntsman) was born October 8, 1858 in Emerson, Iowa and grew to womanhood in that place. She was married to Alvin Henry Sherman at Emerson, Iowa, February 2, 1881 and died at Yuma, Colorado April 8, 1941.

To this marriage was born six children, five of whom survive the mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, A.H. Sherman on March 7, 1934, and also one daughter, Almira Amelia Sherman-Taylor. Surviving children are Cleveland A. Sherman, Alamosa, Colorado; Mrs. Lulu Taylor, Beatrice, Nebraska; Mrs. Fay Lambert, Yuma, Colorado; Llewellyn R. Sherman, Rayville, Mo.; and Mrs. Dora Gudgel of Cheyenne Wells, Colo. These with other relatives and friends rise up to call her name blessed.

She united with the Baptist Church of Emerson, Iowa in early life and remained a faithful member until the time of her death. A truly Christian character has gone to meet the God who gave her life and the Christ who gave to her eternal life.
