Word comes from Belinda that J.C. FARLEY committed suicide there, last
Friday morning, by hanging himself in the barn. This occurred not far from
7:00 o'clock in the morning. The cause or causes which led up to this
tragedy are mere matters of conjecture but it is probably that they were the
result of a diseased imagination as his mind had been affected at times for
years. He had a wife and a grown up family of children, all being married
save one.

The funeral was held at the church north of Belinda, on Sunday afternoon.
