Edna A. Morrison was born October 2, 1930. She passed away on January 30, 2012 in Indianola, IA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald. She is survived by her children, Bruce Morrison, Cheryl Hubbard, Rhonda Morrison, and Teresa Nichols and her brothers, Wimp and Earl Brown.

Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m., Friday, February. 3, 2012 at Fielding Funeral Home in Chariton, IA. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, February. 2, 2012. Interment will be in the Chariton Cemetery.

EDNA A. MORRISON

Edna Alice Morrison was born October 2, 1930 to Earl and Opal (VanWinkle) Brown in Chariton, Iowa. She passed from this life on January 30, 2012 in Indianola, Iowa at the Westview of Indianola Care Center at the age of eighty-one years.

Edna grew up on a farm in Lucas County until 1947, after which her family moved to town, where she met and married Ronald Morrison. The couple resided in the Chariton area. To this union were born four children, Bruce, Cheryl, Rhonda and Teresa. Throughout her life, she enjoyed taking care of her home and family. She was also extremely dedicated to her job as a seamstress working for the Gross Galesburg Pant Factory in Chariton.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Opal and her husband, Ronald Morrison. She is survived by her children, Bruce Morrison of Indianola, Cheryl Hubbard of Knoxville, Rhonda Morrison of Salt Lake City, Utah and Teresa Nichols of Indianola; her brothers, Wimp Brown of Chariton and Earl Brown, Jr. of Melcher-Dallas, Iowa; five grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
