The seven weeks old infant son of MR. and MRS. WARREN WILSON was found dead
in bed, about four o'clock Sunday morning, caused by whooping cough. The
parents, who were worn out from loss of rest, had just dropped to sleep, and
supposed the little one had strangled. The funeral was held at the home at
10:30 a.m. Monday, conducted by Rev. Moore, of the Baptist church, and
interment made in Chariton Cemetery. The family have the sympathy of the
community in their sorrow.
