ALBERT BANTOCK was born in England Aug. 8, 1855, and died at his home in
Albany, Mo., Jan. 20, 1908, after a short illness with pneumonia, at the age
of 52 years, 5 months and 12 days. He came with his parents to America,
when but a little child, settling in Illinois, and later came to Chariton.
He was at one time connected with the Yengel meat market in this city.

He removed to Albany, Mo., in 1903, where he has since made his home.
Funeral services were held at the late home Wednesday morning and the
remains brought to this city for burial. He leaves a wife and two children,
ROY and MAMIE, beside numerous relatives and friends to mourn their loss.
Three sisters, MRS. M.E. COOK and MRS. T.H. DUFFEY of Creston, and MRS. LOSS
of Lacona, were present at his death and accompanied the family with the
remains to this city. The Odd Fellows had charge of the ceremony at the
grave.
