JOHN, son of GEO. HENDRICKSON and wife, died at Saylorville, March 22nd,
after an illness of six months. JOHN had only passed eighteen summers and
was making a bright young man. Last September, while mining coal at
Saylorville a fall of slate struck him on the spine which caused his death.

The body was brought to Lucas, Saturday, and funeral services conducted at
the U.P. Church on Sunday at Norwood, and the remains buried in the cemetery
nearby.
