CHARITON.

John Kelley, father of Jas. Kelley of this city, died suddenly at Holden, Mo. on Monday, following a stroke of Apoplexy. He was 87 years of age. The remains were brought to Chariton and funeral services held at St. Mary's Catholic church yesterday afternoon at two o'clock conducted by Rev. Father Jas. MacGillin, after which the remains were laid to rest in Calvary cemetery.
