Funeral services for Howard Whitlatch who died July 26 at Collins Memorial Hospital were held at Chariton with Rev. Delbert Hobbs of officiating. Burial was in the Columbia cemetery.

Howard Milton, son of Guy and Myra Finch Whitlatch, was born Dec. 11, 1901 in Lucas County where he spent his entire life. On August 15, 1928 he was united in marriage to Leota Hall. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Lowell Wayne.

Survivors include his wife and one brother, Arthur Whitlatch of Indianola.
