Rites Thurs. for Carey Davis, 91

Carey Davis, 91, of Derby, Iowa passed away Tuesday a.m. at the home of his son James, in Allerton, IA. Carey B. Davis was born June 12, 1868 in Shelby County, Ill.

Survivors include his wife, Effie, a son James, and granddaughter Joan Davis, of Allerton. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 31st at 2:00 p.m. at the Methodist Church in Derby, by the Rev. P. H. Blunt. Burial will be in the Derby Cemetery. The body will be at the Randolph Funeral Home in Allerton until the time for the services.
