Services for George A. Pfrimmer, 79, 1130 Meridian, will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Schroeder Funeral Home with Pastor R. G. Foster in charge. Burial is in Bluff Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the Home after 3 p.m.Thursday.
George Pfrimmer was born July 10, 1886 in Lucas to Albert C. and Mattie Lipe Pfrimmer. He was a chauffeur for the Boone Yellow Cab Company.
He died yesterday at the Boone County Hospital; preceded in death by his parents; wife, Loy, in 1968; nine sisters and brothers; one daughter; and one son.
Surviving are four sons: Donald of Tempe,Arizona; Gilbert of Seattle, Washington; Keith of Falls City, Nebraska; and Dean of Boone; four daughters: Mrs. Fred (Norma) Hickcox of Des Moines; Mrs. John (Glenice) Robinson of Storm Lake; Mrs. Oris (Dorothy) Hubbard of Van Meter; and Mrs. Myrna Murray of Boone; 24 grandchildren; 16 great granchildren; a brother, Saxon of Lucas; two sisters: Mrs. Mary Hopkins of Seattle and Mrs. Norris Price of Centerville.
