Willard Davis, 74, passed away Saturday, March 18 at his home after a brief battle with Leukemia.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Chariton. Burial will be at Liberty Cemetery at 3:00 P.M. Visitation will be on Tuesday at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola with the family present 6:00-8:00 P.M. Memorials may be made to the Chariton Group Home or Tenco Workshop.

Willard was born February 17, 1932 in Clarke County. He lived with his family until March of 1981 when he moved to the Chariton Group Home. He was employed at Tenco Workshop until his retirement in 1999 and was named Employee of the Year. He enjoyed spending a week each summer for 17 years at Exceptional Persons Camp at Wesley Woods in Indianola. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Chariton.

Preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Rosemary in infancy, Willard is survived by three brothers, Larry Davis of Chariton, Keith Davis and wife Carrie of Hendersonville, NC, and Vern Davis and wife Jo of Yuma, AZ; sister, Janice Hester and husband Bob of Medina, TN; nieces and nephews; extended family of the Chariton Group Home; other relatives and friends.
