The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa
Thursday, April 8, 1909

A quiet but beautiful home wedding took place at the home of the bride's
parents, MR. and MRS. CHARLES SANDAHL, when their daughter EDNA PHOEBE was
united in the holy bonds of matrimony to MR. ARTHUR L. MORRISON, of Lincoln
Township, Rev. A.H. Lathrop performing the ceremony. The groom's sister,
Miss Nellie Morrison, and Mrs. Myrtle Hulgan acted as brides maids and the
bride's cousin, Mr. Carl Sandahl and Mr. Hulgan, as groomsmen. The bride was
attired in a beautiful gown of silk down while the groom wore navy blue.
After congratulations had been proffered the guests repaired to the dining
room where a sumptuous wedding dinner was served.

The bride is well known in this community. She is of a temperate
disposition and wins the affection of all who meet her. The groom has also
been a resident for many years of Lincoln Township, and is favorably known
by a large circle of friends. He is of industrious and thrifty habits and
is equally worthy of his chosen companion. The new couple expect to make
their future home at Milestone, Canada. May their cup of joy be full to
overflowing and their wedded life be long and fraught with happiness is the
sincere wish of their many friends.
