JAYSON EVANS and wife were in Chariton from Russell, on Saturday. For about
twenty years they have been residing near Wichita, Kansas, but have leased
their farm, taken a residence in Russell and will reside here for a year, at
least.

MR. EVANS is in poor health and unable to look after farm cares so they
decided to retire and dwell in the vicinity of their more youthful days.
