The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa
Thursday, March 26, 1908

Russell, Iowa, March 19, '08.

At the Baptist parsonage Wednesday evening occurred the marriage of MAMIE M.
BEALS, daughter of MR. and MRS. S.A. BEALS, to ASA A. PRICE, son of MR. and
MRS. MILES PRICE. The bride and groom were unattended. Rev. A.H. Stote
performed the ceremony in the presence of a few relatives.

The bride was gowned in a very pretty white dress, the groom wore the
conventional black. The bride is a beautiful and accomplished young woman,
possessed of admirable attainments. She is fitted to shine in social
affairs, and yet in the every day affairs of life she will prove a true
helpmeet to her husband. She has a host of warm friends who wish her and
the husband of her choice all peace and happiness obtainable in life. The
groom is a young man of sterling qualities, industrious and honest. He is
now head clerk at Woodman's hardware store and by his kind and pleasant
manner has won a host of friends.

MR. and MRS. PRICE are members of the Baptist choir and prominent in church
affairs. They will reside in the east part of town, in a cottage purchased
by MR. BEALS. Thursday they were entertained at the PRICE home and an
elaborate dinner was served.
