The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa
Thursday, February 6, 1908

At the home of the bride's parents, MR. and MRS. SMITH, in southeast
Chariton, occurred the wedding of their daughter, BERTHA, to ELMER E. KIMSEY
Rev. Hugh Moore, Pastor of the First Baptist Church, performing the
ceremony, only the relatives and intimate friends being present.

The bride was attired in white mull. She was raised in this city and is a
young lady with many good qualities and will prove a worthy help to the man
of her choice. The groom is a son of WILSON KIMSEY and wife, and is an
energetic and moral young man, and no doubt will do his part toward making a
pleasant home.

They will leave next week for Rawlins, Wyoming, where they expect to make
their future home, followed by the wishes from their many friends for a long
and happy wedded life.
