A quiet home wedding was solemnized on Christmas day at the home of G.L.
ASHBY and wife, the contracting parties being their daughter, MISS KATHRYN,
and WILLIAM WALLACE. Only the relatives and a few intimate friends were
present to witness the ceremony. The bride is an unusually intelligent and
charming young lady and comes from one of Otter Creek Township's best
families. The groom is one of our prosperous young farmers and a young man
of splendid character. They received many beautiful and useful gifts. May
they have many years of happiness and prosperity is the wish of the Ledger.
