At the home of the bride in the southwest part of town, J.L. LONG and SUSAN
GARRETT were united in marriage Sunday, Sept. 8, at noon. Rev. J.H. Yaggy,
pastor of the United Brethren Church, performed the ceremony. The happy
couple left on No. 6 the same day, intending to return the latter part of
the week and live in Chariton. Hearty congratulations follow them.
