MR. BRICE WHITMORE and MISS ELLA NOBLE were united in the holy bonds of
matrimony, Tuesday evening, at 8 o'clock, at the Presbyterian manse, Rev.
McCullagh, Pastor of the church, officiating, in the presence of the
relatives and a few intimate friends. The bride is a daughter of CLINTON
NOBLE and wife; was raised in this city and graduated from the Chariton High
School, in the class of '07. She is a cultured and refined lady and is in
every way capable of presiding over a home. She wore a navy blue panama
suit, with hat and gloves to match. The groom is also a product of Lucas
county, and is an energetic and progressive young man. He is brakeman on the
main line of the C.B. & Q. with headquarters in this city where they will
make their home. They will go to housekeeping at once in a cottage one
block south of the square, which they have nicely furnished and ready for
occupancy. The Leader joins their many friends in wishing them a long and
happy life.
