The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa
Thursday, September 12, 1907

On Wednesday evening Sept. 4th, at 7 o'clock p.m., at the home of the bride
s parents, MR. and MRS. E.M. ALLEN, near Derby, occurred the marriage of
their daughter, MISS EDNA ALLEN, to MR. EVERETT RASH, attended by MISS
MINNIE RASH, as bridesmaid, and Mr. Jesse Smith as groomsman. Rev. M.S.
Clark, of Chariton, spoke the words which made them husband and wife, in the
presence of about thirty invited friends and relatives.

The bride is a charming young lady worthy of presiding over a home. The
groom is a son of MR. and MRS. F.F. RASH. He is a prosperous young farmer
living near Derby. After the ceremony a delicious supper was served and the
rest of the evening was spent in entertainments and games. We congratulate
this young couple by wishing them a long, happy and prosperous journey, as
they travel the path which they have chosen. They will probably live on his
father's farm, south of Derby.
