The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa
Thursday, April 25, 1907

MR. VERN CLARK, of this city, and MISS ZELLA THRELKELD, of Russell, were
united in marriage at the Baptist Parsonage Wednesday evening, at 8:00 o
clock, Rev. F.B. Palmer officiating. The bride was dressed in grey silk,
with gloves to match. She is a daughter of MR. and MRS. JOHN THRELKELD, who
reside near Russell and is a charming and accomplished young lady. The
groom was raised in this city and is a young man of good moral habits and
worthy his chosen bride. They have purchased the Eastman fruit farm,
southeast of the city, and will take up their residence immediately. Their
many friends extend hearty congratulations for a happy and prosperous life.
