The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa
Thursday, April 4, 1907

WILL GOBLE, CAL KING and BILLY CONNORS loaded their cars at Russell,
Saturday, and shipped for their claims in South Dakota. On Tuesday another
colony left Russell for western South Dakota, securing claims there last
fall. They were ASA PRICE, HARLAN KING, CHAS. RUARK and MR. PLYMATE, the
blacksmith. These families all go to found homes in the new country. They
expect to locate were ENOCH LOUDON and BERT TABER have pitched their tents.
When will the stream of emigration cease?
