The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa
Thursday, January 24, 1907

Rev. M.S. Clark spoke the words which joined for life the fortunes of MISS
OLA BEVARD and MR. MARION G. IRWIN, at 12 o'clock, p.m., Wednesday, January
23, 1907, the ceremony occurring at the residence of MRS. ALIA GOOKIN, in
Chariton. The contracting parties are both natives of Union Township. The
bride is the daughter of PATTERSON BEVARD and is a young lady of most
excellent qualities and will do her part toward the success of a home. The
groom is in every way worthy the choice of companion he has made.

These young people start out on life's sea with broad hopes and fair
prospects and may their anticipations be realized. They expect soon to
start for southeastern Kansas, the groom having previously arranged to
locate there and will till the soil, the occupation speaking well for his
judgment.
