The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa
Thursday, February 7, 1907

A very pretty home wedding took place Wednesday noon at the home of MR. and
MRS. SELDEN M. KING, when their daughter, IVA, and JOHN KIMSEY, were united
in marriage by Rev. A.H. Stote of the Baptist Church. The bride wore a
dress of white nun's veiling and carried white roses.

After the ceremony and congratulations, an elegant supper was served. These
young people need no introduction, having lived in Lucas County all their
lives. The bride is an accomplished young lady, and has a host of friends
in and around Russell. The groom is a promising young business man of
Chariton, where the young people will reside.

The many friends extend best wishes for a long and happy life. Those in
attendance from abroad were: Misses Laura McIntire and Marie Curtis, of
Ottumwa; Ethel King, of Humeston; Mr. and Mrs. Clowser, Mr. and Mrs. Porter
Wagner, Misses Laura Yocom and Mildred Willey, of Chariton.
