A very impressive and beautiful wedding occurred at the home of MR. and MRS. FRANK AMBELANG, in Benton Township, five miles southwest of this city, at 8 o'clock, Wednesday evening, when their daughter MARTHA M., was given in marriage to GLENN L. ROBERTS, also of Benton Township, in presence of a large assembly of invited guests, Rev. F.B. Palmer, Pastor of Chariton Baptist Church officiating.

After congratulations had been bestowed upon the happy couple the guests repaired to the dining room where a sumptuous dinner awaited them. These young people are well known to this community, and are held in the highest esteem. They will immediately go to housekeeping on a farm eight miles south of Chariton which the groom has in readiness. They received many useful and beautiful gifts which were highly appreciated. The Leader joins in congratulations.
