Herschel, only son of Earnest and Pearl Thickston, was born in Youna, Brown county, Indiana, August 27, 1919 and died at the home of his parents in Wapello, Saturday, Oct. 7, 1922, aged 3 years, 1 month and 10 days. A funeral service was conducted at the home Saturday evening at 8 o'clock by Rev. McBride and the parents started to the old home in Indiana with the body at 10:45 that night. Besides the parents a sister, one year old, survives
