Mrs. Catherine Spaulding passed away at her home in Oakville last Friday morning. She had been an invalid for many years but had just been confined to her bed a short time, having contracted a severe cold., which with the infirmities of old age caused her death. Mrs. Spaulding was Oakvilles oldest citizen, having passed her 92nd birthday. She is survived by seven children: Mrs. William Hayes, of Oakville; Albert Spaulding, of Topeka, Kansas; Edward Spaulding, of ?, Wisconsin; Mrs Catherine ? of Muscatine; Mrs. Lillian ? of California; Mrs. W. E. Morrison, of Wapello. The funeral; was held from the Methodist Episcopal church in Oakville Saturday afternoon.
