Guy McFadon, a former resident of Wapello, was fired upon and instantly killed Friday evening at his home in Muscatine by his brother in law, Bert Boke. Guy McFadon was 52 years age. He lived in Wapello many years then moved to a farm in the vicinity of Whiskey Hallow until moving to Muscatine last November. His first wife Anna Hohenadel passed away 17 years ago. To this union two children were born, Verne and Gertrude, at home. Eleven years ago he married Jennie Boke Metzer and to them three children were born, Ira, Howard and Wilbur. Deceased is also survived by three step-daughters, Mrs. Art Neipert, of Muscatine, Mrs. Cal Brownlee, of Rock Island and Mrs. Earl Bishop, residing east of Muscatine and a stepson, Ernest Metzger
