Funeral services for Mrs. John Thompson, who was killed in the wreck on the M. B. & S. Thursday afternoon, were held from the First M. E. church in Wapello Sunday morning at 10 o'clock, conducted by Rev. W. S. Moore, and the body interred in the Wapello cemetery. Frances Kuder was born in 1865 near Wapello, her parents being pioneers of Louisa county. On March 12, 1880, she was united in marriage with John Thomson, and moved to the farm, near Wapello where they have resided. To this union six children were born and are: Ona, wife of Harry Tillmann, who died in Denver in 1910; Mrs. Margaret Kuhl Juergan, Mrs. Marian Edwards and Helen Thompson, all of Des Moines; Earl, residing near Wapello and John of Rock Rapids, Iowa. Deceased is also survived by one granddaughter, Flora Tillmann of Wapello, five brothers and three sisters.
