The remains of Mrs. Rebecca Hungate were brought to Morning Sun on Monday morning from Chicago, where she died November 11. Funeral services were conducted from the Methodist church at 10 a. m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, 1922, by the pastor , Rev. Mr. Tinney. Interment was made in the Elmwood cemetery. The deceased was the mother of W. H. Hungate, of that place, and was in her 84th year. Following the death of her husband Mrs. Hungate went to Chicago to make her home with her daughter, Mrs. Perkins.
