Page 1Mrs. Eunice Crull, a well known resident of Letts, Iowa, passed away at the Bellevue hospital in Muscatine last Wednesday evening, following an extended illness. Her demise was due to the ills incident to old age and was not unexpected. She had been in failing health for several years and when she was removed to the West Hill institution, her condition was such as to discourage hope of a recovery. The decedent was about 85 years of age and resident for many years in the vicinity of Letts. Her death is mourned by three daughters, Minnie Crull, of Kansas City, Mo.; Laura Plening of Columbus Junction; and Mrs. Eva Johnson of Kansas City, Mo. and three sons, Roy of Chicago; William of Independence, Mo., and L. A. of Fredonia. The decedent was a member of the U. B. church of Letts, the W. R. C. of Davenport and the Letts branch of the order of the Eastern Star. The funeral was held Friday afternoon at the U. B. church, at Letts.
