Page 1(Muscatine) Mrs. Mary Werner, for almost sixty years a resident of Iowa, and for fifty five years a resident of Louisa county, died at her home in Muscatine Nov. 26, 1909. Mrs. Werner had been ailing for several years and for the past six weeks had been bedfast. Death was due to a complication of diseases. She was born in Pennsylvania on April 20, 1849 and came with her parents to Grandview when but one year old. She resided at Grandview until four years ago, when the family moved to Muscatine. Mrs. Werner was a member of the Congregational church at Grandview for over forty years. Two sons and three daughters survive her. They are: Lee and Ebert, of Grandview and Misses Pearl, Bertha and Ruth of Muscatine.
