Lorenzo Dow Hayden, the youngest son of Enoch and Margaret Hayden, was born near Burlington, Iowa May 10, 1859, died at Oakville, Iowa, Aug. 4, 1909, aged 59 years, 2 months and 24 days. He was married to Carrie B. Delzell, of Morning Sun, March 11, 1891. To their union was born one daughter, Dehilah and one son, Chester, both of whom are at home, and with their mother mourn his death. He is survived by three brothers, Geo. W. of California, William of Portland, Oregon and M. T., of Wapello. (unreadable) His remains were laid to rest in the Brown cemetery north of Morning Sun.
