Mrs. Anna Trautman, wife of Arthur Trautman, died in Oskaloosa, Iowa, first of the week, while undergoing an operation for appendicitis. Deceased was the youngest daughter of Dan Owens and wife of Morning Sun, near which place all her life was passed. She was only a little passed her eighteenth year, and had been married but three weeks. Her husband, Arthur Trautman, was raised up in the north end of the county in the vicinity of Cone and had been in charge of a livery and feed barn in Columbus Junction for some months. The remains were brought to Morning Sun Monday where the funeral were held Tuesday afternoon, with burial in Rice cemetery.
