Isaac T. Harris was born in Fayette county, Ohio, January 2, 1832 and departed this life March 2, 1907. He came with his parents to Iowa in 1852, was united in marriage to Louisa Russell in 1856. To this union were born seven children: Harriet E., David H., Arilla A., Nora E., Jennie F., Evaline and Willie. All have preceded him to glory except Harriet E. Weiser, at whose home he passed away. He has two grandchildren, Thomas R. Weiser and Vada V. Rantic, the latter living below Oakville. He also has a brother and a sister, Wm. Harris and Katie Harris , both living in Davis county. Mr. Harris was an upright and honest man. Although he had wandered from God, like the prodigal son he returned to ask a farther's forgiveness and was saved from his sins and was ready to meet God.
