Morning Sun, August 15 - The funeral services of Mrs. A. W. Cavin were held from her late residence Saturday morning at 10 o'clock, and were conducted by her pastor, Dr. C. D. Trumbull. Mrs. Cavin was born in Westmoreland county, Pa., June 9, 1835. her maiden name was Margaret Armstrong. On March 28, 1857, she was united in marriage to James Boal, who died in 1877. Shortly after their marriage they came to Iowa. To this union were born eight children, six of whom are still living. On January 1, 1884, she was united in marriage to A. W. Cavin, who died in 1898. Mrs. Cavin was a faithful member of the Reformed Presbyterian church. By her cheerful disposition and kindness of heart she won many friends, who mourn her loss with the family. Interment was made in Elmwood cemetery.
