Columbus Junction - James Biggs, a farmer living three miles west of Columbus City, died Friday afternoon of tuberculosis and was buried Sunday afternoon. Services were held at the Methodist church in Columbus City at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. J. C. Kendrick, of this place. Burial at Columbus City cemetery. James Biggs was born Dec. 27, 1876, in Columbus City township and was at the time of his death 28 years old. He was married Oct. 1, 1902, to Mrs. Ellen Thomas, who survives him. Besides the wife he leaves a mother and two brothers. He had been in poor health for some time.
