The death of Edwin Franklin Cox, the only child of Charles and Alice Cox, occurred Tuesday, January 3, 1905, aged 12 years, 9 months and 2 days. The death was an extremely sad one from the fact that the little fellow had been a sufferer with spinal trouble since he was two years of age and the last year he was bedfast. However, he was always cheerful and resigned, and although unable to participate in the pleasures of boyhood days, he did not complain. He was a bright fellow, and will be greatly missed in the home where he was so tenderly cared for by the parents. The funeral services will be held from the Presbyterian church today a 2 p. m., conducted by Rev. W. H. Cooper. Interment in the Wapello cemetery.
