(Muscatine) The sad news reached Wapello Monday morning of the death of William Henry Harrison Reddick the evening previous at his home in Seventy-six township, Muscatine county. He was ill about twelve days with typhoid pneumonia. He was a former resident of near Wapello and lived in this vicinity for many years. His death occurred at 7 o'clock Sunday evening, surrounded by his wife and a number of his children.

Two weeks ago he was apparently in good health. He was born in Indiana in 1840 and enlisted for the civil war in company B, Thirty-third regiment, Ohio volunteers. For many years he resided in Seventy-six township, Muscatine county, and here he reared a family of seven boys and two girls. He was a member of the G. A. R. post, of Wapello. Interment took place in the Lettsville cemetery, the services being in charge of the G. A. R. post of this city.
