Columbus Junction, July 21 - Wm. Wall died at his home in Oakland township July 17, 1903, at the age of seventy-one years. He was born in Devonshire, England, and came to America at the age of sixteen, living in Ohio for two years and then coming to Iowa and making his home in Oakland township for the remainder of his life. He was married to Elizabeth Lawrence in 1858 and to them five sons were born, all of whom are living. The wife died in 1869 and two years later Mr. Wall was married to Elizabeth Hill, who with two daughters and five sons by the first marriage survive him. He served through the civil war. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. T. B. Devore, were held at the home at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, with interment at the Beauchamp cemetery.
