The community was grieved to hear the sudden death of H. H. Hunt, who was found dead in a wood shed where he had gone to split some wood. His daughter had come to care for him and his wife during the winter and when she went to call her father to dinner, found him dead. Mr. Hunt was born in Charlestown, Tenn. more than 80 years ago, served his country during the Civil war, and served his Master a number of years as a faithful member of the M. E. church. He leaves a wife, four sons, and two daughters. The funeral was held from the M. E. church Saturday afternoon conducted by Rev. Ballard, of the U. B. church.
