Muscatine, Ia., Oct. 13 - Charles Winche, a resident of Montpelier township, a few miles from this city, was gored to death by a bull last night about 6 o'clock shortly after the heavy rainstorm. He was a man seventy-seven years of age and had been a resident of this county for many years. His son found him in the barn lot, in which the bull had been running loose. A horrible sight met his gaze, the mangled body of his father lying in the ground and the frenzied bull standing near its victim. The son readily drove off the fierce beast and upon approaching his father, found that he was dead, having been terribly gored by the bull's horns. The brute, after having killed the old man, tramples him almost into the ground.
