Columbus City, Sept. 30 - After a long and painful illness, Mrs. Alex Green departed this life Saturday, Sept. 27th, aged 44 years, and four months. She was the mother of eight children seven of who are living, the youngest, McKinley, died about a year ago. The husband and children have the sympathy of many friends int his great trial. The funeral was held from the U. B. church of which the deceased was a member, Monday at 10 o'clock conducted by Rev. Ballard.
