Morning Sun, September 2 - Mrs. J. W. Preston died very suddenly at her home in this city Saturday night. She had been in her usual health until that evening and her death came as a shock to the community. Funeral services were held from the house this morning, but on account of the failure of a son to arrive, who is on the way here, interment was postponed until tomorrow. Mrs. Preston came to this community with her husband and family some years ago, from Sparta, Ill. She was a kind hearted friend and neighbor and was much respected by all who knew her.
