Miss Francis Montgomery, a former resident of Wapello and a sister of Mrs. Mary S. Hyde, died at her home in Burlington Sept. 1, 1902. She was born in Salem, Columbia county, Ohio, Jan. 14, 1848. The remains were brought to Wapello yesterday and the funeral was held from the Methodist church at 3 p. m., conducted by Rev. Mathews.
