Our people were greatly shocked yesterday to hear of the death of Wm A. Fitzsimmons, west of town, which occurred shortly after the noon hour. He was taken sick about nine o'clock Tuesday morning, and his condition grew dangerous at once. The cause of his death was spinal meningitis and most of the time he was sick it took four men to hold him on his bed. He leaves a wife, six children and a host of friends to mourn his death. The funeral services will be held from the Oakland Presbyterian church, of which he was a member, at 11 a. m. Friday.
