Geo. Plitt died Tuesday morning at 12:05 a. m. after a few days illness with pneumonia. Deceased was born in Biedenkopf, Hesse-Darmstadt, March 16, 1822, making him at the time of his death aged 75 years, 8 months and 14 days. He was a member of the German M. E. church and lived a faithful christian life. As a citizen he was respected by every body. He leaves to mourn his death, an aged wife, one son, H. A. and a daughter, Rosa. The funeral services were held at the German M. E. church yesterday at 2 p. m., conducted by Rev. H. Zimmerman, interment occurring at Wapello cemetery.
