Died at her home in Morning Sun tp, Aug. 8 at 6 p. m. Miss Amanda, second daughter of J. L. and Samantha Jarvis. Thus has the ruthless hand of time snapped the silver cord which bound to his earth a spirit full of gentleness, of hope, of love. The esteem in which she was held was evidenced by the vast concourse of sorrowing friends which followed her remains to their final resting place.
