The remains of Mrs. Rachel Herron arrived here from Nebraska Tuesday evening for interment. Mrs. Herron was for many years a resident of this county, her home being near Harrison For several years she has been a resident of Nebraska. She was a sister of Mrs. J. L. Sweeney and Mrs. S. J. Paris, her maiden name being Gray. She has been a great sufferer for two years past from cancer of the stomach. The funeral occurred at 10 o'clock yesterday being conducted by Rev. Greer of Columbus City, pastor of the U. P. church, the church of which Mrs. Herron had been a faithful and consistent member for many years.
