Martin Hall, of Oakville, died at his home last Monday from la grippe. Samuel Storks who had been boarding at the Hall home for some time, and who was suffering from the same malady, died Tuesday.

Oakville -M. C. Hall died at his residence at Oakville Sunday, at 2 o'clock. He sold his farm in the fall, bought property here built and had moved into his house ten days before his death. He was a member of Co. G. 19th Ia Infantry, re-enlisted and served to the close of the war. He has been a citizen here twenty nine years. He was a brave soldier, loyal citizen and kind neighbor. He leaves a wife and three sons to mourn his loss. Funeral services conducted by the Rev. Robb, and buried in the honors of the G. A. R. post of Mediapolis, of which he was a member. Aged seventy two years, eight months and five days.
